DMK, I had this idea a while ago, and I'm finally getting around to doing something with it. Here is the gist: We take the overhead maps from the DM levels and we agree on some basic nomenclature for the zones, the building names, the cardinal directions and any key geographic or tactical features. It will take a little time, but we can all get a lot better at calling out where enemies are and where they are going on a given map. We are already pretty good at dominating, but when it comes to clan matches or when it comes to those frustrating a-holes in FAM or GOD we can have the edge. Here is what I've done so far. I reinstalled the PC version of BC2 on my laptop with a retina screen, maxed out all the settings and took screen caps of the overhead maps, these are the maps you see when you are selecting your kit/squad on the PC version of the game. Additionally I found some decently hires maps which are in-game screen shot from far overhead. The issue with these is that they are of the ENTIRE massive map, so when you zoom in to the DM zone, it's pretty mediocre. Attached is one example of each.

First thing to do is agree on what is north. I think that we should go with the mini map version of orientation. I think this because it will just be simpler to implement.

I want this to happen. I've always been bad at call outs. How can I help make this project a reality.
